We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to support our supply chain, planning, production, and manufacturing. The position reports to the EVP of Supply Chain, with an opportunity to grow into the Head of supply chain. This position requires to have direct leadership interaction with General Managers, the VP-Finance, and the President/CEO is ingredient to the job responsibilities. The position is a full-time in the office job in Cincinnati, OH.

Leading Production Planning, Purchasing, Sourcing, and Logistics. Close working relationship with the Forecasting Dept. and General Managers. Primary lead in control of Invested Capital (finished goods & raw materials). Responsible for 100% of company COGS (Cost of Goods Sold). Primary POC for labor and raw material price negotiations. Direct engagement with the Gen Managers of each of the four Business. Segments (Military/Postal, Public Safety, Federal, and Direct to Consumer) in setting and achieving annual Financial Plan. Direct engagement with primary customers, including US Government entities, and primary Retail entities in pursuit of continuous improvements. Work with key member of executive staff and be a dependable resource. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Operations management background within Apparel & Textiles. Experience in negotiating labor and/or raw material prices. Approachable, Reasonable, Measured Troubleshooter and Problem Solver. Leader that is accountable and collaborative with Sales leaders and management team.

Job Requirements: Apparel manufacturing management experience, woven or knits. Background includes production planning, purchasing, operations, or supply chain management. Ten years’ experience with ERP - Microsoft D365 preferred. Experience in International business, including working knowledge of U.S. Trade Law.
