The West Coast Retail Coordinator - Visual

The West Coast Retail Coordinator will execute the Visual Merchandising and Sales support for all department stores within designated region. As a coordinator, your main goal is to increase the performance of our retail sales within department stores by presenting merchandise in an appealing manner that creates a strong desire to buy within the customer and increases brand awareness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

driving sales and profitability, maintaining visual presentations, customer relations and business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Responsible for maintaining and establishing a relationship with sales associates, store managers, visual teams, etc.
  • Drive store sales by servicing customers to ensure profitability
  • Host and execute seasonal product knowledge seminars
  • Monitor overall merchandise performance and analyze individual store needs specific to each retailer/market
  • Prepare and submit store visit report weekly to upper management
  • Develop business driving strategies through sales incentives, contests and marketing/promotional opportunities

Merchandising/Operations

  • Ensure all new products are appropriately presented on the floor and maintain all visual aspects including mannequins and signage
  • Partner with store management to negotiate space, develop sales strategy, etc.
  • Clean and organize displays, work with store personnel to properly merchandise fixtures, keep displays in visible location and
  • Work with store team to ensure all deliveries are properly processed and on the selling floor in a timely manner
  • Ensure markdowns are taken promptly and efficiently placed in designated sale areas

Other

  • Develop a calendar for regular visits to assigned stores and adjust based on selling results or specific visit requests
  • Maintain communication regularly via calls, email, and weekly reports by calendar
  • Alert management of any quality issues and inventory levels
  • Analyze weekly selling report
  • Collect and compile competitors’ analysis report on a seasonal basis
  • Assist Production Manager as needed. Training will be provided


Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience (retail, merchandising, wholesale)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proactive, accountable, independent thinker
  • Adobe skills are a plus


Working Conditions:

  • 80% in-field; 20% corporate office
  • Must have valid driver's license to travel to various wholesale locations
  • Flexible schedule to travel to remote accounts
