TECHNICAL DESIGNER - Women's Apparel

Great opportunity for an mid-level Technical Designer. This role is to work with the technical design team to maintain the flow of information between factories and internal departments. The position must be able to perform tech design related tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Create tech packs including measurements, garment details and construction. 
• Participate in fitting with live models.
• Ensure accurate notes/digital pictures are taken during fit session. 
• Prepare fit samples for the fit session. 
• Communicate accurate fit comments to factories after a fitting.
• Evaluate TOP / Shipment samples. Relate comments to factory.
• Maintain sample library.
• Interact daily with Design and Production teams.
• Other duties related to the technical department.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

• College Degree in Patternmaking or/and Technical Design
• At least three years related experience/ Internship experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Computer proficiency with; Excel, Illustrator, and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills
• Willing to learn and have a good attitude.

Salary Range:  60K-65K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience and qualifications.
