Technical Design / Spec Tech - Children's and Adult Sleepwear

We are looking for a talented, experienced, Spec Technician with good verbal and written communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

•  Creating size specifications from children’s 12Months to size 16 sleepwear for both boys and girls
•  Grading
•  Evaluating and commenting on fit samples
•  Explaining and diagramming for factories how to make corrections to garment construction

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of pattern making, sewing and garment construction
• You should have strong product knowledge of children's sleepwear.
• Experience working on boys and girls sleepwear for the budget market.
• You should have a strong knowledge of knit, woven fabrications.
• Experience working with a variety of fabrics and fabric finishes.
• You must be; computer savvy, quick to learn, very organized, and detailed oriented,
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator required.
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience as a in the budget sleepwear market.
• Knowledge of File Maker Pro a plus.
