Social Media Marketing Maven

Are you a highly creative and open-minded Ecommerce & Marketing Manager with a burning desire to tell the story of our brand? Then we have an exciting position with great growth potential for you!

As we continuously expand our business, we are looking for a full-time Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to join our studio of 14 employees in downtown Los Angeles. The position as our new Marketing & Ecommerce Manager consists of three main job functionalities. The primary task is to tell our story in articles, newsletters and on social media and ultimately drive sales to our ecommerce as well as engage with our audience of amazing women. 

Your responsibilities:

  • You’ll develop and execute a holistic digital marketing plan to drive revenue through paid advertising, SEO, website user experience, increased web traffic, and e-mail marketing, including strategy, goals, budget and tactics. 
  • You’ll maintain a keen understanding of marketing trends affecting e-commerce and make appropriate recommendations regarding digital marketing strategy surrounding them.
  • You’ll oversee the website, this means you’ll upload each seasons product and line sheets to Shopify. So consequently, it’s important you’ve worked with ecommerce and Shopify previously.
  • We are growing the direct to consumer segment and are actively selling via social channels such as IG. So knowledge of best practices for ecommerce is a must skill to have.
  • You’ll tell our story on social media posts, be responsible for our ecommerce and Eva Franco’s right hand.
  • As you’ll be the person writing our social media posts and ads to promote sales, write our newsletters, blog posts and articles, it is a prerequisite that you possess a high level of written communication skills in English and be a creative writer. Being creative with a keen eye for design will benefit your work as you will create, write and post for the EF brand on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
  • We have a strong brand design, and have graphic designers to help when the heavy lifting is needed, but your ability to create eye catching posts is pretty crucial.

 

Another duty consists of having your ear to the ground, engaging customers on social media and reaching out to our retailers - to find out what they are looking for, what are customers saying about our clothing and how we we design for future trends. Since you’ll be in close contact with our retailers and be responsible for sending our newsletter to them; alerting them to when each seasons closing dates are amongst other interactions. This means you’ll need an open and curious mindset to know and understand their points of view and have the ability to read between the lines and translate key points back to Eva.

  • Knowledge of social media and ecommerce
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify and social media 
  • Manage the content calendar, scheduling of posts and ads 
  • Thorough knowledge of PSD, Illustrator and/or Canva 
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify – to easily upload products on website 
  • Knowledge of Klaviyo will be a plus

Key Measures for Success: 

  • Meets or exceeds e-commerce revenue goals. 
  • Consistently hits goals for KPI’s as per marketing plan.
