SHOWROOM SALES

For over 30 years, Impulse Moda has been recognized as a premier showroom for luxury, high end women’s fashion.  We represent collections from Europe, Canada and the US which combine to form a distinctive variety of styles, all aimed at the luxury market and curated to attract buyers from some of the best stores.  We are located in the New Mart in the heart of the downtown LA fashion district with hours from 9 to 5, Monday through Friday.

We are seeking a highly motivated sales associate who has experience in wholesale fashion sales and who wants to be an integral part of our business, with responsibilities including sales and development of new accounts, customer relations, and working trade shows, as well as overseeing orders in process and communicating status to customers.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Customer service, in person, phone and email
  • Research, contact, and develop new accounts that generate profit and earn you commission
  • Manage all customer-related activities including order entry, order maintenance, follow up and troubleshooting
  • Assist existing customers
  • Factory relations
  • Respond to email inquiries
  • Maintain showroom appearance and presentation
  • Preparations for trade shows
  • Shipping samples to customers
  • Marketing activities (email blasts, website maintenance, etc.)
  • Schedule road appointments with local accounts
  • Trade show booth set up/take down

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years experience in wholesale fashion sales & customer relations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build rapport and nurture relationships with customers
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, JOOR, etc)
  • Ability to go on the road for local appointments
  • Ability to travel and work trade shows. Current trade show schedule includes: LA Market (5 times/year); Northern California Market (4 times/year); Designers at the Essex House NYC (2 times/year)

Compensation:

Base salary to be determined based on experience, plus commission.  Paid parking and travel expenses.
