SENIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER - Swimwear and Intimates

We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our team as a Senior Technical Design Lead! As our Senior Technical Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving our private label and licensed swimwear and intimates collection.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Design Director to align objectives, meet deadlines, and execute plans for brand growth.
• Oversee the technical design aspects of swimwear and intimates production, setting industry standards for our private label and licensed products.
• Develop strategic plans for collection development by merging customer demands, price points, and brand objectives.
• Lead fittings and meticulously review patterns to provide precise feedback for production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners globally to ensure seamless workflows and exceptional results.
• responsible for developing swimwear and intimates that prioritize fit.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion
• Mentor and guide the team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
• Manage  product development, fit, technical specifications, and production.
• Ensure the smooth progression of the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, adhering to timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Technical Design.
• Demonstrate a proven track record as a Technical Designer in the swimwear and intimates industry
• In depth knowledge of swimwear construction techniques and fit requirements.
• Exhibit proficiency in reviewing patterns and providing detailed feedback through tech packs.
• Showcase experience in developing cups and wires for swimwear and intimates.
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to mentor a team.
• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products is required.

Hybrid work environment. NYC. Salary- $120,000-$130,000
