SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Missy Sportswear Division ($100-$200K)

A leading apparel company based in New York, renowned for its innovative designs and premium-quality clothing is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Missy Division. We specialize in designing and manufacturing owned, licensed, and private label apparel 

for an extensive account base. Our diverse range includes Juniors, Missy, Contemporary, Plus, Girls, Boys, Active, Men’s, and Young Men’s categories. With a strong presence in major retail chains such as Walmart, Kohls, Macy's, Nordstrom, and others, we are committed to delivering exceptional products to our customers. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Missy Sportswear division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both private label and branded apparel, with a focus on bottoms categories in denim and non-denim fabrics. This role will involve working closely with Clubs, Discount Chains, Regional, and National department stores to drive sales and expand our market presence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts in the Missy Sportswear division. 
  • Drive sales growth by presenting innovative designs and premium-quality products to customers. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to maximize profitability.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance and market insights. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the apparel industry.
  • Strong product background with a focus on bottoms categories in denim and non-denim.
  • Previous experience working with Clubs, Discount Chains, Regional, and National department stores. 
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key accounts. 
  • Knowledge of private label manufacturing processes and experience working with moderate department stores is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.

Salary + Benefits: 

  • $100-$125K Salary plus commission for total potential comp of $200K
