SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Luxury Outerwear

SAM is seeking an experienced account executive to join our team!  Must have at least 1-3 years of experience.  We are looking for a team player that can adjust to our fast paced industry. This is a key member of our team, responsible for maintaining and growing an active list of accounts.

Candidate must be extremely thorough, organized, detail-oriented, good with numbers, and be able to anticipate and alleviate future problems and/or errors.  You must have a positive attitude, time management and problem solving skills, and be able to multi-task.  EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills are crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Have a PROACTIVE approach to managing specialty store and international wholesale customer relationships: order management, processing, entry, and follow up.
  • Track all future open orders for accounts and oversee moving inventory in conjunction with timeline
  • Develop strong relationships with specialty buyer/store owners
  • Support business by identifying key opportunities with accounts through reorders, swaps, on-order issues.
  • Prepare for market appointments and present line to buyers.
  • Continually identify new account opportunities.
  • Manage RA’s/Credit Memo’s for designated accounts
  • Assist with account/customer trouble shooting  (shipping and product related issues)
  • Prepare weekly selling reports from retailers
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and updated order files
  • Follow through to ensure a timely response and resolution on any issues
  • Organize and send photo samples to necessary accounts
  • Communicate between sales, production, and logistics
  • Assist in seasonal merchandising of the line with company leads, and preparing and maintaining seasonal line sheets
  • Create and update showroom photo look books/line sheets
  • Organize and manage trade show prep
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested

 REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Understanding of specialty store business and contemporary market
  • Knowledge of market and fashion trends, business environment, and competitors
  • Outgoing, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to cold call and develop new business
  • Bachelors degree
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Great problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with clients on the phone
  • Well-spoken and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Handles pressure and able to work independently
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of Mac/Apple operating system and Photoshop/ InDesign a plus!
