SALES - Multi-Line Showroom

Agent R.E.D. International is seeking an experienced Sales Executive for specialty store sales, to drive sales through strategic business development initiatives and relationship management.  Agent R.E.D. Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years related experience in wholesale apparel sales
  • Specialty store sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Superior organization skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented, outgoing, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous; take initiative, proactive, sense of urgency and have ability to think outside of the box; problem solver, flexible and must be able to function independently when needed.
  • valid driver's license, willingness to drive and "go on the road" (company car available if needed)
  • Preferred that candidate come with strong account base/relationships with specialty stores, and major accounts

Duties/Requirements:

  • Manage/Grow existing account base and establish consistent business patterns from season to season.  Facilitate market appointments for showroom, trade shows, facetime and road.  Must be creative in finding new ways to secure business
  • Obtain new accounts via contact list provided for leads and self-initiated research.
  • Possess innate ability to connect with people – know your audience and amend your presentation/communication style to each client.  Must be able to take a conversation through to an appointment and then follow through to a confirmed order. Must be a results oriented thinker.
  • Must be a real business manager and be able to prepare a plan of action in anticipation of a client meeting including forecasts of goals by brand.
  • Must be able to manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners including marketing, sales, design and production.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, assistants and be able to effectively navigate each retailers’ organization.
  • Ensure proper customer service at all times. Demonstrate proper etiquette when communicating with clients and internal team.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge as well an understanding of the women’s contemporary market; keep updated on new products and fashion trends.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, Ability to plan and execute a critical path
  • At least 25% travel required (company car provided) to various states to show/sell clothing to accounts
  • Must thrive in small-team, self-motivated atmosphere with many tasks to manage
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and be able to adhere to company procedures in logging communications with clients and vendors as well as creating plans for securing business
  • Must possess a winning attitude have desire to contribute. Must approach work with a positive vigor and desire to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Must have track record of being able to manage specialty store business and meet goals.
  • Update template to track/manage booking histories, and provide strategy updates daily
  • Must be a strategic leader with proven sales management track record of achieving goals
