SALES MANAGER - Missy Apparel

Sales Manager for Missy Apparel.

OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF MISSY APPAREL, WHICH CAN MAINTAIN A WONDERFUL CAREER.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • This position has growth potential and a dynamic opportunity for the right candidate.

  • Must have current relationships with buyers and decision makers in the missy market.

  • Must have expertise in dresses and rompers.

  • 5 plus years sales experience

  • Needs to master the knowledge of the Product

  • Ability to meet, greet and excite the Customers

  • Able to have the perception of who the Target Markets and who are the customers they cater to.

  • Must be a good listener and team player that takes responsibility for their actions.

  • Organize their sales strategies and appointments.

  • Offer sales support and training to the potential customers that have a interest in the collections.

  • Must have up to date Computer knowledge of the supportive systems.

  • Domestic Traveling can be up to 30% in the beginning

  • Air and Road traveling to Trade Shows, Industry related events and Clients Facilities.

  • Absorb the past, current, and future trends of the product.

  • Learn who the competitors are, and how to step ahead of them.

  • Multi-Tasking priorities and goal setting.

  • Strong understanding of all the phases and stages of design, sales, production, shipping on time, and customer satisfaction follow up. 

  • Experience with Burlington, Gabriel Brothers, TJ Max, Bealls, Ross Stores, and/or similar stores.

  • Must know what is trending in the market and what the competition is buying.

  • Monitor all the phases and stages from purchase order to coordinating shipping dates.

  • Meeting with the ultimate consumer to acquire their feedback and input.

  • Command presence with a creative presentation is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three plus years experience in a competitive environment

  • Industry savvy, command presence, and knowledge of market trends.

  • Career motivated and a team player.

  • Self-starter, prioritize and multi-task.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of inventory and sales reports (spread sheets).

  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.

  • College and/or Trade degrees preferred.

BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Other

COMPENSATION: $110,000 to $175,000 Salary with potential commissions combined with excellent benefits.
