A retail sales associate/stylist (SA) works in the customer areas of a retail store. The SA will to help maintain the store’s orderliness and appearance, as well as assist shoppers in locating specific merchandise. The SA will need to be well versed with the story of the owners’ clothing brand sold, Tribe Kelley, as they will be styling the guests. They will need to understand what it means for the brand to be made in the USA and be knowledgeable on how to explain to customers. They will need to be prepared to answer questions from fans of the owners/designers the Kelleys’. Will need to have multi-tasking skills for duties such as restocking inventory throughout a shift and setting up personable dressing room experiences for customers with their stylist training. The SA will also be trained as cashiers to check out customers and make stock room runs as needed. Sales associates will help in facilitating sales campaigns and special promotions; they must be knowledgeable about these campaigns and provide customers with assistance regarding sale items and discounts.
Previous experience is preferred but not required. Our SA’s are the face and reputation of our store, therefore they must have friendly, outgoing personalities and be able to work well with members of their team and with customers. They must have patience with customers, as Nashbille is a big tourist community with heavy volumes of people traveling through. Sales associates are also trained to maintain an eye for detail and are expected to maintain the organization and cleanliness throughout a shift, even during the busiest days. They enjoy fashion and all the joy that comes with helping people feel confident!
