SALES ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

As a key member of the Sales team, the Sales Assistant works closely with the Sales team supporting the planning and executing of sales meetings and presentations, creating sales reports, gathering samples, preparing sales materials and interacting daily with internal departments, customers and our manufacturing partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Sales & Merchandising:

• Assist sales lead to create line structures based on customer sales analysis.
• Collaborate with the Design, Sourcing and Packaging teams on new product development- liaison between NYO and Walmart/Sam’s Product Development teams
• Work with Sourcing team on all pricing, review with Sales lead and maintain margin sheets
• Prepare QMS and PLM quotes

QUALIFICATIONS

• One plus years' Retail/Wholesale Home Goods experience
• Ability to Multi-task and Prioritize with a strong sense of urgency.
• Detail-Oriented
• Team player
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet, particularly Excel , retail link
