SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Up and Away, an established children's and adult outerwear company located in the Fashion District of Los Angeles, seeks an energetic and outgoing individual to assist in all aspects of the business. This job provides exposure to many facets of a small and growing international apparel brand, and allows the selected candidate to make an impact in areas he or she might not be able to at larger fashion brands.

Candidates with social media and e-commerce experience are desired as the company wishes to enhance its current activities and involvement in both areas. Fashion exposure is another plus.

Duties include:

  • Overseeing website transitioning from Word Press to Shopify
  • Expanding social media presence
  • Increasing consumer interaction with the brand
  • Driving retail sales to company website and third-party sites
  • New business development
  • Corporate sales, both domestically and internationally
  • Custom order and private label pitches
  • Daily wholesale and retail order confirmation, order fulfillment and shipping
  • Maintain and restock inventory
  • Regularly update copy and images on sales sites
  • Maximize search engine optimization
  • Analyze advertising spend and ROI
  • Assist with product placement, influencer opportunities, etc.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented and a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous social media experience
  • Exposure to e-commerce
  • Training will be provided for duties not previously done before

The salary range is between $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience and skillset.

Benefits include paid vacation, sick days, and paid holidays. This is a full-time and permanent on-site position. Remote work is not possible.
