SALES ADMINISTRATOR - GOLF

Overview:

Works closely with Sales Management and Under Armour Sales Management Team, Sales Representatives and various departments within the organization; serves as support for management.  Position will be responsible for, but not limited to, organizing yearly sales meetings, creating and running sales reports as required, organizing customer visits, organizing sales representative training, creates sales representative agreements, enters payment requests for reimbursements, managing trade show functions and payments, and advertising incentives / Coop for the golf channel and updates and tracks MDF requests as well as set up new accounts.

This position is a hybrid position working three days onsite at the Lenexa, KS location and two days remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Sales Managers to develop fiscal divisional budget based on review of expenditures for the division (includes but not limited to: expenses for trade shows, representative training, sales meetings, etc).  Reviews financial information monthly to ensure the department is in line with budget to help with divisions P&L.
  • Provides relevant business analysis reporting bi-weekly, monthly, yearly to the Sales Team on a regular scheduled basis (includes but not limited to sales numbers, sales representatives, etc).
  • Provides support to the Sales Team and serves as a communication link to Customer Service and other internal departments (brand, licensing, design, etc); is the first point of contact for sales representatives and outside vendors when questions and issues arise.
  • Maintains sales data integrity in Oracle, including: customer type, class, sales representative and territory.
  • Accepts new account applications and determines correct customer classification.
  • Facilitates National Sales Meeting; initializes all planning and logistics of meeting.  Arranges all meals, travel activities during meeting, creates itineraries, gift selection for sales representatives and sets up and tears down. After the meeting, provides analysis of expenditures and suggestions on how to improve for next year’s meeting.
  • Facilitates customer visits: travel itinerary, coordinates schedule with internal staff, arranges meals, gathers customer gifts, coordinates signs and name badges, circulates internal customer visit form to upper management.
  • Facilitates new sales representative training: travel itinerary, maintains schedule with internal staff, creates training itinerary, arranges meals, provides sample coordinator necessary information, ordesr appropriate sales tools.  Adjusts schedule as necessary.
  • Works with Brand team with sales programs.
  • Maintains unilateral MAP policies
  • Provides support and maintains advertising incentive requests for the division.
  • Creates and updates weekly, monthly and quarterly management group revenue summaries and sets up periodic calls to review sales activity with key management group stakeholders.
  • Creates and maintains micro sites and works with representatives along with customers to facilitate the fulfillment of orders generated from these customized sites.
  • Helps facilitate Spring/Fall samples with Samples Coordinator in conjunction with Brand team
  • Fields phone calls and emails from customer service, sales representatives and management. Answers questions, researches problems and takes appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Researches and resolves customer complaints/issues via phone and email in a professional manner.
  • Researches customers questions regarding placement of orders and issues to provide proper resolution.
  • Maintains accurate account information, including customer name, address, phone and payment detail.
  • Coordinates shipping catalogues and embroidery approvals
  • Manages returns and credit requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred
  • Two years of experience working in an administrative role with customer service experience OR a current employee with the understanding of current systems and software packages
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to travel to company events and assist with set up/tear down.
