QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - Domestic

Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Responsibilities:

Works at in-house and offsite warehouses to inspect the quality of garments. May sign releases for cuts coming in from shops.

Duties:

- Inspect a requested percentage of garments per cut, no less than 5%.

- Give an OK to those cuts that follow our standards.

- If the cut does not meet quality standards:

• Ask Supervisor for further instructions.
• Follow the instructions.
• Be prepared to 100% inspection some cuts, as needed.

- After the completion of a cut, continue to quality control inspect additional cuts until complete.

- Prepare paperwork needed to release cuts from the contractors.

- Offsite Warehouses:

• Inspect the quality of the garments for the complete cut(s) at contractors and outside warehouses.
• Write up releases.
• Assist outside, when needed.
