PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Production Manager is the key link in communication between each department in regards to production. Being the go-to in production, you will operate your daily functions by ensuring schedules and quality are being met at all times. The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, assigning, and directing all quality assurance department operations. This person has the ability to look at things through a root-cause analysis process to provide accurate communication and follow through. The role supervises and coordinates the activities of the production department by performing the following duties personally or through team leads. This individual works in conjunction with other leaders of the company to push forward a happy & healthy culture that exudes hard work ethic, accountability & career development in a fast paced environment. The production team holds the largest team of the company which is a key point in building teams, individuals, and a great future for the team.
Top Priorities:
- High Level Communication of order status & updates with internal departments.
- Production team member management
- Quality Control Support
- Ensuring proper position & safety training of all production members including new hires, and
internal employee changes
Position Duties:
- Full understanding and management of the production schedule board to ensure completion
- Strong collaboration at shift change to ensure updates and a smooth transition
- Management & planning of all production department leads, workflows, schedules, and people
- Withhold quality control standards through all departments and work closely with QC
leadership to ensure changes are made when necessary
- Develop & implement operating procedures and methods to eliminate production bottlenecks
- Understand customer requirements and ensure the team is also aware
- Knowledge is power; take the time to train team members on the knowledge you know as a
seasoned production professional
- Championship team members only; Build and nurture team members to perform as top talent
individuals excelling in their roles
- Coordinate Employee development and disciplinary actions as needed
- Understand standard operating procedures to assist in training and process understanding
- Evaluate production scorecards, monthly KPI’s, and individual performance evaluations with
shift leads to make reasonable adjustments
- Enforce a safe work environment at all times
- Daily meetings with production team members to ensure a great production output and
satisfaction for each individual
- Always thinking ahead and putting plans together to never hit any capacity walls

Qualifications/Skills:
- Bilingual: Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
- 5+ Years of industry experience
- 2+ Years of management or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, and very
personable
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible, Friendly, and engaging personality
- Hands on experience as a trainer or coach
- Proven experience in screen printing manufacturing environment
