PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Amanda Uprichard, a NYC based Women's contemporary clothing company, is looking for a full time Production Assistant.  This is an entry level position, with the possibility of growth in the company.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Going to the domestic factories every day to check on production.
• Going to the domestic factories to do QC.
• Preparing trims for the domestic and overseas factories.
• Organizing fittings with the design team.
• Checking overseas production when it comes in.
• Preparing trim WIP charts.
• Creating trim PO's with our manufacturing software.
• Preparing markers for the domestic cutting rooms.
• Setting up domestic factory cutting tickets.
• Preparing fabric PO's with our manufacturing software.

  Skills needed:

• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent knowledge of excel and word.
• Must be extremely organized and methodical.
• Knowledge of garment construction.
• Must be a fast, quick learner.
• Basic patternmaking knowledge.
