Product Development Assistant

RDG Global, LLC an apparel company based in NYC, seeks a Product Development Assistant to join our expanding product development department.

We deliver private label sweaters and sportswear from conception through completion. With robust product development capabilities complemented by a keen understanding of trend, our company produces apparel across its own proprietary labels and under license. We partner with leading retailers, providing them with current trend direction.

We are a fashion house that is highly experienced at developing products and manufacturing in a wide array of styles and size ranges and can meet the needs of consumers in all apparel categories including missy, junior, contemporary, plus, petite, children, accessories, and sleepwear.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Responsible for RDG sales order entry utilizing the internal VSR system, including style creation and follow-up with respective pitch sheets and TPs.
• Ensure accuracy of customer worksheets for order entry, verifying details like delivery dates, style numbers, quantities, pricing, and colors.
• Manage AD samples by requesting, tracking, tagging, and dispatching them to customers.
• Follow up on EDIs/Customer POs, internal order analysis reports, and order change forms as necessary. 
• Upload customer e-commerce attributes for ordered styles onto the Klink system - example: silhouette and yarn details.
• Generate weekly selling reports.
• Deliver samples / knit downs / lab dips to the customer's NYC office, and ship samples to the customer's HQ office.
• Photograph all items sent out based on account and organize/save in shared drive.  
• Responsible for data entry in FLEX PLM (QVC/HSN) and managing OnePLM/BOMs (Kohl's) across the entire product lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with the RDG Sales/PD, Design, WIP, and Production teams.

Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years' experience in the fashion industry.
• Strong data entry skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system knowledge a Plus.
• Workflow management based on prioritization of deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently yet collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Proficient in proactively managing workload, troubleshooting, multitasking, and adapting to dynamic business demands in a fast-paced, SKU-intensive/high-volume setting.
