PACKAGING DESIGNER

We are seeking a motivated Packaging Designer to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for creating packaging for our in-house & licensed brands. You will work closely with our packaging design and development teams to create new and innovative products, following current trends that will catch the customer’s eye in stores. This position requires a highly creative individual with a passion for design, typography and color.

Responsibilities:

•  Create packaging for a variety of home products, with a focus on kids’ and seasonal
•  Assist packaging design team revising existing packaging following brand guidelines
•  Create and edit sellsheets for sales team
•  Maintain, organize and update in-house digital libraries
•  Help in showroom year-round as needed
•  In-house mock-up creation/hand comping for packaging samples
•  Photoshopping images for packaging
•  Create renderings of products/packaging and realistic-looking lifestyle images
•  Assist in the research and development of seasonal trends
•  Design, development and implementation for twice yearly Market Week
•  Coordinate presentation materials for Sales/Account meetings.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Communications Design, etc.
•  Excellent Photoshop skills
•  Strong conceptual design ability and color sense
•  Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment
•  Problem solving, highly organized and a fast learner
•  Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years (Required)
