MERCHANDISING PRODUCT COORDINATOR

We are allheart, a division of Careismatic Brands, and we are an e-commerce retailer that offers the world's largest selection of personal medical apparel, footwear, and diagnostic equipment, along with their exclusive private label collections. We currently have an excellent entry-level opportunity for a Merchandising Product Coordinator in our Calabasas Office (currently offsite due to the pandemic).

This position plays a key role in researching, executing, and launching new products, promotions, and assortments on allheart’s website, along with administrative collection maintenance responsibilities. The position requires a solid understanding of best practices regarding data entry, Microsoft Excel, retail math, and ecommerce customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all product attributes and executing the team’s merchandising strategies on the site
  • Communicating with brand partners to gather all images, catalogs, sizing, colors, and necessary files for new collections and products to be added to the site seasonally
  • Creating master data files for new website additions and working with other team members to import data into the company’s ecommerce platform and inventory management systems
  • Establishing and coordinating colors for new products to enhance the site experience
  • Working with Customer Service to help resolve site or product-related issues
  • Performing daily site scans for issues or areas of improvement and ensuring that content and pricing are accurate
  • Conducting weekly and seasonal site updates based on selling trends and new vendor launches
  • Analyzing market and customer trends through competitive shopping and research
  • Demonstrating excellent follow-through internally and with cross-functional teams
  • Communicating issues and progress updates effectively while working productively with others and completing all tasks on a set deadline
  • Communicating with vendors to problem-solve
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working in Microsoft Excel – a major component of this position – and at least one year of e-commerce site merchandising experience (including internships)
  • Fashion merchandising/clothing/e-commerce experience is a plus
  • Able to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Able to perform all tasks on a PC platform
  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, or related fields
  • A proactive and self-reliant self-starter with superior organizational abilities and professional attitude
  • Independent thinker with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
