MERCHANDISER
PURPOSE: Support the Merchandising Team at Sanctuary Clothing across all women’s product categories, working through the full product lifecycle from inception to inventory exit.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Color & Mood, sketch, proto, pre-lines, pre-merch, final merch, market shows participation
- Schedule of design meetings-color & mood, sketch, final merch
- Line merchandising/assorting on going
- Sku planning, sku counts/management on-going
- Sku breakouts by class, pyramid and price for design
- Product Line Management- line management delivery shifts/drops/adds/changes communication
- Sales allocation meetings and all door select sheet
- Review selling; Best/worst seller communication
- Sales majors markets-wall and mannequin direction
- Tradeshow-wall and mannequin direction
- Specialty markets/line presentations
- Provide target MSRP style price for entire line and costing meeting participation to achieve margin-initial target at style creation, post sketch review and final merch/final costing
- Communication and pass style info setup with customer service and review all styles setups
- Linesheet management; communication of updates, style set up and management to double check names, prices, add photos to all styles, etc
- Update Joor product descriptions for each delivery
- Exclusives/late add product requests management from sales to design to pd
- Sales cad board requests-pre-lines, exclusives, late adds
- SMS buys, specialty selects and communication to PD
- Quarterly visual merchandising directives for sales
- PR line product review with marketing
- Review all product copy for Look book, head to toes, any guide or pk
- Manage Master fact sheet and input all info for sales and ecom use
- Trend/Competitive research
- SLT participation and general management tasks and ad hoc project participation
- Strategy creation/implementation
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
