Mens Design, Bottoms, Tailored & Swim Intern - Summer 2020
The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Tommy Hilfiger is seeking talented fashion design students to be part of our fall internship program located at our North America corporate offices in New York City. This position will work with the men’s woven team and help assist in woven shirts, bottoms, outerwear, and swim. Students will take advantage of mentorship & development opportunities, and exposure to all aspects of the fashion industry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

* All Design candidates must upload a portfolio or design samples.

Internal:
Will work with the men’s merchandising team both wholesale and retail, our product
development team, and technical design team.
External:
Possibly work with some of our licensee partners in wovens
RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:
Ability to use Adobe Illustrator is a must…
ENVIRONMENT:
The men’s design team is a great bunch of people that are all very talented and get along very well. The woven team is very laid back and hard workers that focus on their work, but also know how to have fun. This person will need to be really willing to get in and help whenever and wherever is needed and be able to adapt to a very high paced environment.
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from June-August.
