MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER - Hybrid

Our client, a luxury retailer, is seeking a Marketing Social Media Manager.  This role can be hybrid with work in office in NY, Brooklyn, and WFH options weekly.  The salary for this role is 85-90,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, support, and maintain effective online social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.  Stay current with social media trends and recommend changes for campaign strategy as appropriate to improve customer experience as well as marketing efficiency.

  • Maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the products we sell.  Be comfortable in building a follower growth strategy that incorporates both organic and paid.

  • Ensure that a consistent content strategy is applied to social channels, creating steady long-term growth.

  • Utilize social media channels as a medium to fuel the website online sales, experimenting with features such as Instagram and Facebook Shop for seamless integration.

  • Work with Social Media team members to ensure that all direct messages and comments are being responded to in a timely and effective manner.

  • Perform continued review of vendor guidelines relating to social media content.

  • Track analytics for paid posts on Instagram & Facebook.

Website Management

  • Participate in the continued development of the Company website.  The purpose of the site is to build brand awareness, introduce products, generate leads, produce sales/revenue, disseminate information, provide services, and capture valuable visitor data for marketing purposes.

  • Work with our vendors in order to keep their brand’s assortment updated.  Ensure that all vendor policies are being followed.

Design Marketing Strategies

  • Develop ways to attract and retain customers.

  • Develop and execute multi-channel contact strategies across customer segment touch point channels (direct marketing on site, email, direct mail, and social network marketing) with the goal of engendering loyalty and driving revenue from existing customers.

  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.

Content Management

  • Ensure that all advertisements are released with vendor’s permission and are grammatically correct, customer-oriented, and consistent with branding initiatives for the programs or clients.

  • Participate in Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing strategies and tactics for both organic and paid search programs.

E-mail Marketing

  • Work with the Management Team to develop and implement e-mail marketing campaigns to support program objectives and enhance customer relationships.

  • Report and analyze results on a campaign level and make recommendations to Management Team based on this analysis.

Support Management & Sales Teams

  • Partner with Management Team to create, execute, and measure the success of promotional campaigns including marketing plans and creative development, timelines, memos, program forecasting, budgeting, and post-event analysis.

  • Develop advertising and marketing materials for various special projects as needed, monitor customer online reviews, and gather information regarding competitors’ pricing, methods of marketing and distribution, marketing programs, and promotional activities.

  • Provide marketing support to Management and Sales Teams with creating sales materials and presentations, as well as other administrative assistance.

  • Provide the Management Team with suggestions and ideas on a regular basis for how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company. 

  • Support Management Team with ad hoc projects and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Social Media content, management, paid posts, and campaigns is required.

  • Experience in website management and overall marketing functions is a plus. 

  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Social Media/Marketing.
