Marketing Manager - Unpublished Denim

Contemporary Denim Brand in Los Angeles is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Manager to join their fast-growing team. In this role, you will focus on increasing brand awareness and revenue through strategic marketing initiatives. You will:

  • Work alongside & collaborate with the Creative Director on all aspects of company branding & marketing. Creating marketing assets such as lookbook shoots, e-commerce shoots, trade show design, promotions and events bringing to life ideas and concepts. Work closely with PR firm on all brand strategies and events.
  •  Optimize all marketing activity utilizing digital marketing, email marketing, direct response marketing, affiliate marketing, partner programs, SEO, SEM, social media, and mobile marketing.
  • Create & maintain a marketing calendar coordinating with the design team and the sales team. This calendar will detail all marketing activity, promotions and events.
  • Create, manage and maintain all website updates, content, & promotions and make sure each  message is consistent throughout all of our social channels and email blasts.
  • Storyboard and present new ideas for brand campagnes. Collaborate with photographers, models, and stylists on the organization and production of all professional photoshoots. Work with your network of creatives to create additional original content on a constant basis for all social media outlets.
  • Design comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategies that increase revenues and enhance brand awareness.
  • Work to grow all of our social media channels with a high emphasis on Instagram
  • Manage monthly budget, forecasting, and reporting. Manage annual marketing budgeting process as well as monthly/weekly forecasting and reporting at channel level for traffic, revenue, spend, ROI and other performance KPIs.
  • Create & manage bi-weekly email blasts using mailchimp to increase web traffic and sales.
  • Create a world-class customer experience through your innovative marketing strategies
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are brand-centric and working to elevate brand messaging

You need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a wholesale/retail or e-commerce marketing role that includes digital marketing preferably within apparel
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing & communication, MBA is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop profitable marketing programs that optimize customer experience
  • Experience running successful social media campaigns
  • Knowledge of advertising tools like Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Ads Manager & Business Manager.
  • Experience with Shopify & Mailchimp
  • Advanced proficiency with Photoshop & Illustrator
