Overview:
The Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing a store including: managing a sales and inventory team, overseeing store operations to achieve sales goals, customer satisfaction, and developing business strategies. This role will work closely with the corporate team, located in NYC, to ensure the store is operating properly. Duties will also include following brand guidelines, company policies, and making sure that the right product is in the store. The manager is also responsible for budget; including store payroll and overall expenses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Promote employee selling and merchandising skill by demonstrating and leading by example
Build and maintain an effective clientele list
Drive business through reacting to customers’ needs and wants
General Responsibilities
Maintain a professional appearance in the store and phone presence when calling clients
Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability
Handle in-store deliveries, transfers, returns, damages, etc.
Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits
Support execution of all visual merchandising updates and standards
Provide product knowledge on new arrivals to the retail team
Perform weekly cycle counts and negative qty investigations as well as seasonal physical inventory
Handle in-store markdowns and promos
Be responsible for weekly bank deposits and oversee petty cash log/deposit log
Keep team informed of store goals and overall store performance
Oversee social media for the store with the help the corporate team
Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations
Leadership
Act as a mentor and leader to retail team members while developing individual strengths and identifying opportunities
Conduct bi-annual reviews
Maintain strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Delegate responsibility and work to the team members
Train new sales team members and hold the sales team accountable to our company standards
Interface with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and respect
Salary: $130,000
