The Retail Marketing manager will help support the strategy for in-store execution of the Michael Kors brand experience including clienteling, events and brand exposure across the Lifestyle & Collection channels. The objective of the role is to adapt global marketing campaigns to serve the needs of U.S. Lifestyle & Collection stores and create an elevated in-store experience to drive traffic and increase brand loyalty. Critical to the role is the development of retail execution through a newly created clienteling program, in-store events, local advertising, animations, and digital drive to store initiatives.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain strong relationships with Mall Partners and leverage marketing opportunities when brand appropriate
- Work cross-functionally with Global Events, Advertising and Social media teams to execute impactful in-store events and media support that increase traffic, ROI and brand loyalty
- Identify partnership opportunities in local markets to enhance events, in-store traffic and client experiences
- Assist in the creation and enhancement of the Michael Kors clienteling program and support the new clienteling platform roll-out through tools, training and communication of best practices and successes.
- Partner with CRM to identify Outlet customer insights and opportunities
- Leverage Marketing Analyst to pull and distribute strategic clienteling lists that support the overall clienteling program and business needs, and provide program results and analysis in a timely manner.
- Partner with Learning & Development to ensure clienteling and marketing initiatives are organically integrated within overall trainings, coaching and messaging to stores
- Ensure clear and concise communications are sent to stores for all retail marketing initiatives through Retail Communications in a timely manner
- Work with Associate Manager, Retail Marketing to maintain overall Lifestyle & Collection budget and brand appropriate store support as requested
- Support Chinese tourism initiatives with marketing support through partnerships with Alipay, WeChat, CLA and additional tourism opportunities identified.
Qualifications and Core Competencies
- Bachelors’ Degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience with Clienteling within a retail environment
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Strong visual communication skills ie: Power Point, Excel
- Ability to prioritize, and multitask effectively
- Thrive in a fast paced on-time deliverable environment
- Strong analytic and project management skills
