INTERNSHIP - Social Media, Sales and Showroom

THE WRKSHP is a product development and sales showroom/company located in the Flatiron  district of New York City. We help businesses and brands of all sizes develop and produce private  label programs. Our clients include Peloton, Carbon38, and Corepower Yoga 

THE WRKSHP is looking for a self-motivated individual, who will grow with us as a Social Media,  Sales and Showroom Intern. It is a unique opportunity to learn about Private label Development,  Social Media be a part of launching a new brand!  

The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and fitness, and: 

  • Responsible and professional with an eagerness to learn. 
  • Possesses excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, an elevated aesthetic,  along with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs, Familiar with Canva and Trello
  • Works well under pressure and is adaptable – can pivot seamlessly and thrives in a fast – paced environment. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Propose and create content and copy for THE WRKSHP. 
    • Social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin
    • Site Blog and weekly emails 
  • Assist with managing NEW BRAND social media and creating Tik-Tok content.
  • Analyze and recap digital and SM campaigns. 
  • Research, Discover and Outreach of new possible clients for all divisions.
  • Manage the showroom samples (organize, check in, ticket and tag); and fabric/swatch  library. 
  • Assisting the Sales Team, in all duties and facets  

You must be comfortable working in a small (business), non-corporate and entrepreneurial  environment!  

  • This is the perfect internship to gain valuable experience in the fashion and apparel industry. You  will walk away with a great understanding of the Sales side of the fashion industry, and gain  exposure to buyers and marketing as well. We will help you discover what path you want to pursue! 
  • This internship is for experience and/or college credit only. We are flexible with hours and  schedules but need persons who can commit at least 12 -15 hours weekly. Person(s) should be  residing in the Tri-state area and ideally pursuing a career path in Fashion/Retail and Social  Media/Marketing
