INTERN - STATISTICS

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven college student to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey as a Statistics Intern. The Intern will assist our Supply Chain department in an Integrated Business Planning project. You will be responsible for assisting the team with the tasks below including contributing to special projects as assigned. This opportunity will help you gain valuable experience and skills in Statistics, Supply Chain and Demand Planning while being supported by the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review the entire Set-up for Statistical modeling.
• Analyze The brands to recommend the best Stat Modeling parameters based on segmentation criteria.Where appropriate set up the Mapping of sku’s to help develop Statistical models for like sku’s.
  • Example A sku’s, New Products, Brands, etc.
• Work with the Demand Planners in developing the stat modeling process.

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in college as a Senior and studying towards a Bachelor’ degree or enrolled in a Master’s or PHD program
• Must be able to work 3 days in-office (hours are flexible)
• Must have a can-do attitude and be willing to learn new things
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and have great follow-through skills
• Must have strong analytical and statistics skills
• Must be MS Office proficient with strong Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and problem solver
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience using IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is a plus
• Experience using SAP is a plus
• Experience working in the fashion industry is a plus
