Graphic Designer - CHILDREN'S Girls/Boys Fashion Sleepwear

Girls & Boys fashion Sleepwear company based out of New York looking to expand their team. We are looking for a Boys & Girls Graphic Artist. 

Graphic Artist 

The Graphic Designer collaborates with the Head Designer in:

• Researching and presenting graphic trends appropriate for all product categories
• Creates visual presentations by designing art and sample layouts
• Assembles concept, trend and presentation boards for review   
• Helps execute graphic art process within the seasonal calendar
• Provide all the necessary artwork technique and instructions to the production team
• Provide all other artwork details, such as size and placement, are correct, match with the Garment Worksheets
• Insure that the artwork techniques in the production packs are consistent with those provided at the time of initial costing
• Follow all company formats for artwork package
• Update artwork, line sheets and sales books when necessary
• Review all artwork components such as; print and embroidery strike offs prior to production commencing
• Meet all timelines and deadlines
• Review and comment on artwork submits
• Communicate any concerns that he/she may have in regard to sample submissions with the Head Designer and the production team
• Work with the Head Designer to insure the daily work is completed on time
• Follow all company naming conventions, standards and processes for creating and filing computer files
• Return all store bought samples back to the stores in a timely basis

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years of graphic design experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
