GIRLS SEASONAL DESIGNER - Children’s Apparel Brand

Leading Children’s Apparel Manufacturer based in New York City is seeking a creative Senior Girls Designer to oversee girls design for all holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day and more. 

In this role, you will manage the design process from conception through completion, shop the market, and create inspiration boards in conjunction with the Design Director. 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research through competitive analysis
• Develop CADS and flat sketches
• Create seasonal trend presentations
• Work on new concepts and product categories
• Direct colorways, graphic concepts, patterns, and silhouettes
• Ensure consistency of product from beginning to end

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• Previous experience within a fashion house
• Previous experience directing an entire collection
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Eye for merchandising, color, and design
• Highly organized; able to keep team on track
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Illustrator
