FREELANCE TECHNICAL DESIGNER - Bras

We are looking for a Technical Designer with bra experience for a top intimate apparel fashion company in New York, New York. This position operates onsite in their NYC office. 

Responsibilities:

• Executes the technical design process from development to final fit.  
• Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
• Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.  
• Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors / factories for approvals and corrections.  
• Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.  
• 3+ years experience in technical design.
• Excellent problem solver.
• Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
