FREELANCE SALES AUDIT ANALYST

We are looking for a Freelance Sales Audit Analyst for a top fashion company in New York City!

Responsibilities:

• Daily cash and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with audits
• Handle month-end closings
• Prepare and book monthly credit card fees and expense accruals
• Process customer refund requests (ACH, check or wire)
• Monitor and dispute chargeback claims
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and booking journal entries

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP is highly preferred as this person will be required to report and identify discrepancies
• Experience with daily cash/credit reconciliations, audits, month-end closings, expense accruals, etc.
• 2-3 years of experience in retail reconciliations
• Advanced communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in luxury retail
