FINANCE MANAGER
Italian luxury fashion brand lifestyle collection known for modern femininity and sophistication is hiring a Finance Manager based out of Los Angeles
Key Accountabilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and financial health.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to track performance against targets.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with the local and HQ team.
- Prepare regular forecasts to anticipate financial trends and variances.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Optimize working capital and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Implement cash flow forecasting techniques to mitigate risks and maximize financial stability.
Treasury:
- Maintaining and reconciling bank accounts
- Coordinating transfers/payments
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any financial or regulatory issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the fashion industry or related consumer goods sector.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Experience establishing and managing the financial operations of a subsidiary or branch office.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Italian language or previous experience working with Italian brands is beneficial but not required.
Salary: $100,000 + bonus
