FIELD SALES MANAGER, Retail & Outlet

REPORTS TO: Director of Stores, Retail & Outlet

FLSA: Exempt

Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 with sales incentive bonus structure

SUMMARY

As a Brahmin Leather Works Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the achievement of sales and profit growth across all stores. The Field Sales Manager will work closely with report to the Director of Stores in building strategies that enhance the client experience and grow the Brahmin market share in each location.  This position will primarily be focused on growing and developing store talent, improving the client experience, and elevating the store visual execution standards. Must reside within driving distance from one of our Brahmin store locations in MA, RI, AL, GA, NC, or FL.  The ideal candidate will reside within proximity to one or more of our southern store locations (NC, AL, GA, FL).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively communicates company objectives, vision, and strategies.
  • Conducts regular store visits focused on growing and developing store talent, improving the client experience, and elevating the store visual execution standards.
  • Ensures all stores consistently demonstrate best in class client experience standards resulting in margin, KPI, and sales growth.
  • Works closely with the Director of Stores to identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot store business opportunities in partnership with the Store Managers.
  • Supports Store Managers in creating a culture in which training and development is ongoing by providing honest and constructive feedback. 
  • Operates with a cadence of accountability that leads to individualized sales achievement across all stores and roles. 
  • Understands how to manage store finances to control store expenses and drive profitability.
  • Collaborates with the Store Managers and Mall partners on innovative ways that lead to increased store traffic. 
  • Grow market share through expanding new customers and increasing repeat clientele using community engagement and outreach practices. 
  • Works with the Store Managers to build effective teams in all locations through proactive recruitment, retention, and team development strategies. Frequently assesses and addresses talent risk and build succession plans.
  • Analyzes sales reports to identify business trends and opportunities.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in leading multiple high-performance teams with an emphasis on the client experience, preferably in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead multiple teams (multi-unit management preferred) throughout geographical markets. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently while supporting a larger team effort.
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about client engagement with strong selling skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. This may require some weekends and holidays.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently to ensure job responsibilities are met.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Physical requirements: Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for up to 8 hours. Occasionally involves stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Must be able to stand 100% of the time. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds.
