Fashion Design Intern

Job Summary: 

The Design Intern will provide support to the Design Department. There will be a variety of different responsibilities most of which will require an extremely high level of attention to detail.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and pull samples from archive/production
• Help with CAD creation and updates
• Organize presentation boards
• Maintain trim/fabric library
• Preparation for Design meetings
• Maintain racks in the design conference room
• Help update and distribute line sheets
• Update design WIP when there are style adds/drops
• Assist with sourcing trims & fabrics
• Help keep design tools organized
• Assist all design team members with day to day tasks
• Help design team with product development
• Fill out fabric testing forms & send out forms
• Run department errands within the buildings and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Design
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Must be able to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, cheerful, team-oriented attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Illustrator
• Flexible schedule
• Excitement to learn about the apparel design process
