EVP OF SALES

Hawke & Co is the culmination of multi-generational experience in making Wholesale Outerwear and other forms of apparel. We are a dedicated and talented small team looking to add to their numbers as the business continues to grow. 

SUMMARY

Hawke & Co is seeking a highly motivated & experienced EVP of Sales and Merchandising to help build our Women’s Outerwear team! This candidate should have experience building outerwear lines, growing new businesses, and growing sales. Additionally, the Women’s Sales EVP is expected to motivate a team, complete/exceed sales goals, and negotiate skillfully.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leading new business development.
  • Work closely with production & design teams, and international office(s) when necessary.
  • Establish and cultivate professional relationships with any major department stores throughout all phases of sales cycles.
  • Fully accountable for presiding over the annual budget and its implementation.
  • Monitor customer preferences with optimized costing on trends; color; silhouette; and product offerings. Then collaborate with design and production teams accordingly.
  • Tastefully and strategically shop competitors monthly.
  • Review and negotiate end of season profitability and create seasonal strategies to drive profit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • +10 years experience as a Sales Leader, Women’s Buyer, or Outerwear Merchandiser.
  • Excellent relationships with DMMs, and independent retailers such as Macy’s Costco, Costco, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, and ETC.
  • Extensive sales skill set, Critical creative thinker; Entrepreneurial Mindset; problem solver; strategic thinker; Hands-On
  • Strong background and intimate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent eye for showroom presentation.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support assigned accounts.
