ENTRY LEVEL FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

Description

Miller International, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist. In addition to managing the front desk, the Receptionist will also be responsible for performing various clerical duties for different departments as assigned by management. This position requires an individual with a friendly and enthusiastic personality, who understands the importance of prioritizing customer service. The ideal candidate will be stationed at the front desk for the entire workday, and the position has limited flexibility in terms of the scheduled shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Salary Range: $17.00- $19.23

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answering and redirecting all incoming and intra-organization calls
  • Greeting and directing clients, customers and vendors
  • Contacting service providers as needed, i.e., UPS, DHL, vending suppliers
  • Distributes and collects all incoming mail, which occasionally involves carrying approx. 10-15 lbs. loads up and down stairs. Collects and processes outgoing mail.
  • Maintain office supply room. Keep organized and well stocked by placing orders when needed.
  • Administrative assistance and routine data entry as needed for multiple departments including word processing, spreadsheets, preparation of routine correspondence and reports, assist with processing customer requests, and a variety of other general administrative tasks
  • Complete special projects as needed

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years administrative work experience
  • Proficient computer skills: MS Word and Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees from multiple departments
  • Articulate verbal communication skills; strong written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
  • Punctual and professional demeanor an absolute must
