ENTRY LEVEL FASHION ASSISTANT - $15-17/hr

 Our client, an established fashion company is seeking an Entry Level Fashion Assistant for their established team. Their Men’s, Women’s Apparel and Accessories lines are sold in department, eCommerce and specialty stores nationwide.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$15 - $17/hr

Position Overview: 

For the Entry Level Fashion Assistant positions, we are looking for candidates in Merchandising, Buying, Data Entry, Production, Design, Planning, Product Development, Allocation, Tech Design, Wholesale.

Responsibilities of the Entry Level Fashion Assistant: 

• Responsible for all data and PO entry
• Utilize Excel
• Maintain the organization of the fashion closet
• Manage product lifecycle which includes: manage/maintain site catalogs and loading product photography across sites
• Execute site refreshes on time and without errors to ensure product launches in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with Ecommerce buyers to fully understand assortment, deliveries, merchandising strategy and pre-order/back-order requirements
• Organize pick-ups and deliveries of samples
• Process traffic samples that come in and out of the fashion closet
• Configure trend boards and story boards
• Assist on photo shoots with fashion team and outside stylists 

Qualifications for the Entry Level Fashion Assistant: 

• Excellent computer skills
• Experience using advanced excel formulas (Pivot tables, and V-Lookups)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must live in the NYC area, relocation is not offered
• Candidates with strong fashion internships are encouraged to apply 

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
