Employee Relations Generalist

Position:                      Employee Relations Generalist

Reports to:                  Sr Manager Administrative Services

Schedule:                    Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm

Location:                     URBN Distribution Campus, Gap, PA

Salary Range:              Based on knowledge/skills/abilities/experience

  

Candidate should be a motivated team player with good attitude and possess organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees and management. 
 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Filing employee related documentation
  • Maintaining personnel files
  • Support Senior Recruiter
  • New hire orientation, on-boarding paperwork
  • Support of annual benefits and open enrollment
  • Preparing new hire and benefits packets
  • Maintain LOA paperwork
  • Support Worker’s Compensation Claims
  • Support payroll processing

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of Employee Relations experience
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • ADP Self Service Portal experience a plus 
  • Familiar with Kronos payroll systems
  • Proficiency with Word and advance knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work with little direction
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules
  • Degree is preferred but not required

Primary job responsibilities are conducted in an office environment but the employee will travel (walk) between campus buildings as well as the production floor.
