DIGITAL & ECOMMERCE ANALYTICS INTERN

Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital and ecommerce within the retail industry. As a Digital and Ecommerce Intern, you will work closely with our digital team to support various aspects of online sales and marketing initiatives. From managing website performance to analyzing customer data, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our digital platforms and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze e-commerce data using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights from customer behavior, sales data, and website traffic.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce sales, conversion rates, traffic sources, and site engagement.
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Monitor customer performance to help drive long term business growth and profitability.

Optimization and Recommendations:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to identify areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for optimizing website performance, user experience, and conversion funnels.
  • Assist in A/B testing initiatives to improve website usability and conversion rates.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance metrics and present insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards and automated reports to streamline reporting processes.
  • Prepare customer performance recaps to highlight areas of success and uncover those areas needing improvement.

Research and Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in e-commerce analytics.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our performance against industry standards.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Enthusiasm for retail, technology, analytics and ecommerce, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.


•Must be available for 12 weeks/40 hours per week.
•Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
•Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
•Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:
•Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
•Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company’s policy.
•Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
•Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
•Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
•Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
•Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.
