DESIGNER, JUNIORS OUTERWEAR

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop outerwear pieces, including puffer jackets, coats, light jackets, jackets, and woven constructive bottoms, from initial concept to final prototype.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in outerwear and incorporate innovative design elements into collections.
• Work closely with the fabric and materials team to select appropriate textiles that meet our quality and sustainability standards.
• Create detailed technical sketches and specifications using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to communicate design concepts to the production team.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet our quality standards.
• Participate in fittings and make necessary design adjustments based on feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and design techniques.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional design experience, specifically in outerwear.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of outerwear designs.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, materials, and textiles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative and innovative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

Compensation: $90K
