DESIGN COORDINATOR - OshKosh B'gosh

Position Overview:

Provide support in the development of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities: 

- Responsible for accurate and efficient distribution of all incoming packages to the appropriate Design team members.

- Maintain record of all R&D development packages, samples, and raw materials sent out to vendors and external partners.

- Responsible for communicating daily with internal/external partners for all R&D submit comments.

- Sample coordination: Shipping, receiving, checking in, tracking, checking labels.

- Responsible for sample closet, updating each season with new samples and file previous season into archives.

- Coordinate fabric & trim development in partnership with Design team.

- Responsible for maintaining Fabric and Trim Library.

- Assist in sketch review meeting prep (PDF Decks, Printouts, overview board maintenance)

- PLM maintenance of basics and carry over products and seasonal status maintenance.

Experience and Skills:

- 1-3 Years prior experience, preferably in fashion industry.

- Ability to act as liaison between many departments;

- Excellent communication and analytical skills,

- Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong sense of urgency; able to shift priorities quickly

- Meticulous attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong MS Office skills including creating/manipulating Excel Files; Power Point presentations, and Word files

- Collaborative working style; comfortable with ambiguity/fast direction changes

- Strong understanding of the product development process.

- Superb problem-solving ability; able to suggest and try to new ways of working.

- PLM experience preferred
