DESIGN ASSISTANT

• 1-2 years experience as an assistant designer
• knowledge of illustrator and photoshop
• understanding of graphic design
• understanding of garment construction
• self motivated and a team player
• organized and able to multitask
• Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment

Support Sr. Designer on daily tasks in the design process, this includes, but not limited to the following:

• Deep dive research online and in-person market research to find the latest trends in the graphics world for Young Mens and Juniors
• Sketch – create and update CADs in development process
• Development – assist in launching, developing, and tracking trim, fabric, prints and styles
• Organize and track inspiration samples, vendor samples, and development samples
• Assist in creating mood boards for new graphic concepts/processes to apply to new groups
• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Support Sr. Designer with styling & organizing of samples / Setting up, breaking down design spaces before and after meetings
• Shipping, help print out documents, create layouts and assist with CADs when needed
