DESIGN ASSISTANT – BOY’S 8-20 OUTERWEAR/SWIMWEAR

PURPOSE:

Immediate opportunity for creative, highly motivated, organized and detail oriented assistant designer to support to design team on all aspects of product life cycle from concept to final development

RESPONSIBLITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Provide administrative support from concept to design to final development of Boy's Outerwear and swimwear classifications
• Assist with the preparation of presentation boards for seasonal milestone meetings
• Attend fit sessions and review lab lips with Supervisor
• Prepare detailed technical packages and sample management
• Prepare line sheets and perform other duties as required
• Must have strong illustrator and computer skills
• Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
• The ideal candidate needs 0-1yr experience in the apparel industry
