Children's Designer

Allura imports a Leading manufacturer in childrenswear for over 50 years is seeking a creative and talented designer to join our team. Candidate will design Girl's/Boys Sportswear and Sleepwear and Underwear. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Create original prints and allover repeat patterns
• Create appealing and cohesive cads
• Create tech packs for manufacturers 
• Maintain a working knowledge of current and emerging trends in the market
• Use feedback to adapt and update designs when necessary
• Evaluate strike offs and lab dips

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient in Illustrator
• Must have knowledge of the garment industry 
• Knowledge in children's silhouettes a plus 
• Understanding of garment construction
• Resourceful, organized and self-motivated
