CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER ( CFO )

Leading Fashion Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The CFO will be responsible for Directing all finance, accounting, and reporting activities. This position will lead all day-to-day finance operations. Functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Direct all activities for finance, accounting, taxes, for accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets.

  • Direct the activities of the A/P department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, core employee expense reports and cash control.

  • Oversees the A/R department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all non-factored Accounts Receivable aging components including billings and cash receipts application.

  • Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company’s value.

  • Analyze and negotiate all contracts including licenses, bank contracts, and import services.

  • Report all financial forecasting and financial projections to shareholders on a monthly basis.

  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Conform with and abide by all regulations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge directing, accounts payable, and accounts receivables

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving, and analytical skills required.

  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred

  • Must have 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
