About the Job:

The Marketing Manager will support the marketing team with the execution of brand events, partnerships and strategies across all marketing channels.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

  • Create and execute activations with key brands:

o Maintain relationships with current key brands Cultivate relationships with new and emerging brands

o Manage content produced by brands including photography, video, copy and links for social media channels, e-commerce, and blog o Create and execute brand appropriate promotions (GWP’s, contests, sweepstakes, etc.)

o Devise launch strategy for new brands

  • Responsible for experiential marketing activations from concept to execution including onsite vendor & staff operations.
  • Align and collaborate with other PacSun marketing counterparts & outside agencies.
  • Responsible for event & activation budgets & obtaining all approvals from executive teams.
  • Responsible for shipping, tracking, maintaining, unloading, setting up, and ordering supplies for events and activations.
  • Be the primary onsite contact at all events and activations.
  • Provide event recaps after completion of activations What it takes to Join:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and partner across many functional teams and levels both within the organization and externally.
  • Fashion/apparel industry background with focus on brand knowledge, trends, and action sports
  • 5 years' experience in brand, retail, online and/or event marketing
  • Expertise with Microsoft office a must including word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Deep connections within the apparel, fashion and action sports industries
  • Self-motivated and solution oriented with the ability to bring strong creative ideas to the table.
  • Detailed oriented, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines a must Developing the Community/ Leadership Qualities:
  • Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, setting the example for leaders and associates.
  • Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. · Serve as a Pacsun advocate in the industry and marketplace.
  • Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence.
  • As a manager, serve as a leader of company culture, norms, and conduct.
  • Ability to balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction.

Salary Range: $98,764- $116,257

  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours, with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
