Brand Ambassador

Overview

Position Summary:

As a Brand Ambassador you will be representing one or more of Winston’s clients by educating the consumer on product features & benefits, converting customers to the brand, and selling merchandise at a retail location.  This role ensures the best visual presentation is being upheld and goals are often presented to drive multiple sales and productivity.  You will provide photos and reports for each visit which is communicated via Winston’s proprietary store visit reporting mobile app, Wintell. In this position, you will either work independently or part of a team as requested. 


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet each customer in a warm and friendly manner and interact with the customer as they enter the store
• Determine the customers’ needs and give them product features and benefits
• Keep sales floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked
• Unpack, hang/fold merchandise, and secure security tags when needed
• Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance, working back with coworkers to secure coverage if needed
• Comply with Point of Sale (POS) policies and procedures
• Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently
• Comply with all sales related policies and procedures as set by Winston Retail


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience within a department, specialty, or retail store
• Previous work as a sales associate with an apparel, accessory, or footwear company a plus
• Ability to convert customers into sales with a passion and spark
• Goal driven, with an ability to multi-task
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Exemplary customer service
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to train sales associates on product attributes and brand principles
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, and email and digital photography)
• Proficient in capturing crisp, clear mirror image photography (before and after photos to showcase completed work)
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, which include mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays (as necessary)
• Strong work ethic; reliable and committed for the full duration of the project
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds 
• Technology: A smartphone is required for reporting purposes, tablets are not recommended. For iOS users, we recommend an iPhone 6 or greater and iOS of 12.0 or greater.  For Android users, we recommend devices that are no more than 5 years old and updated to Android OS 9.0 or greater.  
• Must know how to download and install an app on your smart phone
• Must have the ability to upload a report, which includes multiple photos, to our reporting site via the app
• Must be able to keep phone OS up to date
• Must know how to use wi-fi services
