Associate Designer - Women's Apparel

We are an established designer, manufacturer, and distributor of women’s apparel, seeking an associate-level designer with ambition for learning and growth, and a passion for creating elevated sportswear within specified price targets.

 Job responsibilities

• Assist in and be a part of the entire design process and team responsibilities which include:
  • Researching, designing, and sketching
  • Creating CADs
  • Creating Tech Packs
  • Being involved in fittings
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams and factories
  • Preparing presentations
  • Following up with buyers

 Skills and Qualifications

• Fashion design degree or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in women’s sportswear design, with a focus on woven tops. Knit experience is a plus
• Strong eye for detail and a creative, imaginative, hands-on approach to design
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and photoshop, and proficient in Microsoft Excel
• General understanding of apparel styles, components, and construction
• Proficient in Tech Packing from initial to development
• Well-organized with strong problem-solving skills
• Sense of urgency and accountability, driven by a strong work ethic
• One-team mindset with a “can-do” attitude and integrity

Salary

• $70000 + benefits
